Chapter 29

• The pot, together with the mushroom soup inside, was going to pour over Lita's slender back. Alex was quick enough to wrap his arm around Lita's waist and pull her towards him, and reach out the other hand to give the pot a strike in the air.
• The pot flew away, but some of the boiling soup still spilled on Lita's back. She gasped in pain and almost shed tears. Her skin felt burning and hurt! Lita really didn't know how she had the courage to block the hot pot for that man with her own body...
• Then some slices of mushroom stuck on the back of her shirt, which went on burning her skin.
