- Yuvan watched Raquel's silhouette vanish into the night. As he turned around, he saw Luna standing at the staircase entrance.
- She rubbed her eyes. “Yuvan, why didn't you hand over the evidence of her gambling to Dad?”
- “If I did, he'd think I was targeting his wife, that I was intentionally investigating her. That's why he needs to look into it himself and discover it on his own.” Yuvan ascended the stairs, reaching out to ruffle Luna's hair. “Go to sleep now. I'm off to bed too.”
