• Veronica had her head lowered, focused on her food, when she heard Mathilda's voice. Moved, she quickly snapped her head upward and said, “Thank you, Grandma, I will.”
• Right then, Franklin wiped his mouth and uttered to his daughter-in-law, “Veronica, since you'll be visiting your parents tomorrow, I'll have Salvador prepare the gifts and Adriel to send you there.”
