Chapter 23

• Ella slowly opened her eyes and looked around her. Her eyes widened, seeing she was not in her room. Even if Ella felt a little dizzy, she stood up and went to open the door. She tried twisting the knob, but it was a failure. Ella slumped on the ground and cried hard, knowing it was locked.
• "Was it really him? Was it really Mikael who kidnapped me?" she mumbled while sobbing. Ella couldn't believe it; she refused to accept everything. She trusted Mikael as her friend.
• Ella heard the door creaked open, and Mikael entered. Her heart broke, seeing him. He is really the one who kidnapped her.
