Unlike me, he was totally invested in whatever that was going on between us. I wouldn’t dare to put a name on it. So yeah, it was only natural for him to be there and try to spend time with me. Honestly, I did enjoy talking to him. Cameron was a good guy—a gentleman. But he didn't ignite those sparks, didn't make me feel the breathtaking chase and thrill that Jacob did. He didn't make my skin crawl or my heart race, nor did he evoke that deep urge to watch him for hours without blinking. He made me feel nothing—absolutely nothing.
