• The crowded dinner Dante was referring to was an executive dinner attended by many upper-middle-class corporate executives in New York. Some even came from out of state.
• When Natalie first entered the venue, she couldn’t help but gulp. She stopped her steps and gripped Dante’s arm firmly. “Are you out of your mind? What if they recognize me?” she whispered worriedly.
• Dante chuckled. “They’re busy people. You think they’ll care about you?”
