Chapter 24 Blindly Vain

• Zachary's kiss was fierce and domineering, showing no mercy. It didn't seem like he was seeking gratitude but rather meting out punishment. Teeth clashed with tongue, and the metallic taste of blood filled their mouths. Blair stared at Zachary in terror, refusing to yield or retreat. Zachary raised his hand to cover her eyes, momentarily pulling back before kissing her lips again.
• "Does it upset you so much to see me with another woman?" Zachary asked, looking down at Blair with cold eyes and a certain tone.
• Blair frowned and pushed him away. "I don't know what you're talking about," she said. She had merely been lost in thought, not upset.
