Chapter 10 His Creepy Stares

• Everyone is having dinner, but Nick is occasionally staring at Rebecca.
• She is aware that someone is watching her and she also understands who is staring at her but she doesn't pay any attention to Nick and only concentrates on her food.
• Nick gets annoyed seeing her behavior. He clings tightly to the fork in his hand. There is a rage on his face.
• In no time everyone goes to their room after having their food and Rebecca also goes to her room and closes the door. She lays down on her bed and tries to sleep but tonight still she can't sleep. She keeps turning on the bed. She's still feeling tense and uncomfortable because of Nick.
• It was still haunting her mind that Nick might try to misbehave with her in private. The way today he looked at her. It's not normal. She knew that very well. She feels so angry in her heart that she can not take a stand for herself. Just because she needs food and shelter. Her tears started rolling down her cheeks. There is helplessness in her face. She just started to feel tired with all this situation.
• In other eyes, she has a complete family but still, her life is just like hell. She is all alone. In her family no one wants her, everyone just wants to destroy her happiness.
• Even her beauty sometimes feels cursed to her. Her stepmother hates her because of her face, her half-sister hates her because of her face even her half-brother fell for her because of her face.
• Her beauty never made her happy. It always feels like a curse to her.
• She started to feel more lonely. She wanted to talk with someone and throw out her emotions but she didn't have a single person like that.
• Thinking all this, her crying became louder and more miserable. Her body shivered and her lips trembled.
• Thinking about all this stuff, midnight passes, and her tears dry on her face.
• She falls asleep like that without even realizing it.

• It's been 2 weeks now that Nick has been in the home.
• From the day he came home, he used to talk to her in front of everyone but he never tried to meet or talk to her in private. Because of this, Rebecca's suspicion about him slowly started to end. It seemed to her that perhaps she had over-thought.
• But still, she maintains distance from him and does not trust him completely. She answers his words in front of everyone and tries to act normal but apart from this, she keeps ignoring his presence all day.
• Day by day she tried to live her life again just like a normal person. She did not go to college for a long time after the incident in Bar. But now she wanted to go back to her old world where she just wanted to focus on her studies. Thinking of this, she again joined the college.
• Due to her father's presence in the home, even Mrs.Wilson and Chole did not bully her these days.
• And not only for this, With Nick coming back, Mrs.Wilson started paying full attention to her son, she didn't have time to keep an eye on her. But Chole didn't want to leave her in peace. She would try to bully her by doing one thing or the other thing, but she was not bothered by her action.
• "Rebecca! Come with me." She is studying in her room when Mrs.Wilson comes to her room and rudely orders her.
• Hearing her, she puts her books back on her bed and follows her.
• Mrs.Wilson with a proud face going first and Rebecca without saying any word just following her steps.
• Shortly after, she stands in front of Mrs. Wilson's room.
• "You stand there!" Having said this, Mrs. Wilson makes her stand at the door and goes inside her room.
• Rebecca silently stands there but her eyes roaming around the room. Suddenly, her eyes stopped in the photo frame which was not there before. In the frame, there is a photo of Chole, Nick, and his father with Mrs. I Wilson. The photo looks like a happy family photo. She bitterly smiled at her heart.
• A few minutes later, Mrs.Wilson comes and stands in front of her with some clothes in her hand.
• Rebecca moved her eyes from the photo frame and looked at her and then looked at the clothes that consist of two dresses and a suit. It's like party clothes.
• "Take this," Mrs.Wilson hands the clothes to her.
• She immediately holds the clothes in her hands.
• "Iron all these clothes properly. Your father and I are going to attend the party in the evening." She flatly glanced at her face and ordered.
• "Yes, Mother." She started leaving with the clothes she had in her hand.
• "Wait a minute!" She shouted in a rude tone.
• Hearing her, she stopped midway and turned back to her.
• "We may be late in coming from the party in the night so take care of the house and cook some delicious food for Chole and Nick. When I come home, I should not hear any complaints." She glared at her with a disgusted face. If it's not because of her husband, she can't stand Rebecca in her house even for a moment. She just hates her presence and her face which is just like her mother.
• "Yes, mother," She nodded her head and just went to her room.
• She put the clothes on her bed and went to plunge the iron. One by one she started ironing the clothes.
• After arranging everything. She started to do all the house chores, so she finished before her father arrived.
• "Hey! Did you iron party clothes?" Chole stared at her with a sour face and shouted.
• Rebecca was wiping the table at that time, but after listening to her, she puts down the ragged cloth and brings Party's clothes from her room.
• "Here it is!" She transfers the clothes in her hand.
• Chole rolled her eyes annoyedly and left with clothes to her mother's room.
