• Every nerve in Tony’s body was piano-wire tight as he waited for Hannah’s decision. Her gaze lingered on their linked hands for what felt like aeons. He wanted to increase the strength of his hold on her, make withdrawal impossible, but he knew physical force would not win what he needed from her. This battle was for her heart and mind and soul and she had to give them up to him willingly.
