• She opened her mouth to shout at him, but she couldn’t because all she kept thinking about was his words, ‘I couldn’t see you in that state.’
• “Still, you shouldn’t have thrown so much water at me.” She spoke in a low tone. “See, I’m all wet.” She added, pointing toward her clothes.
• Wylder arched his eyebrow at the sudden change in her tone, but then she was right. He used magic to change her clothes into a comfortable knee-length decent nightdress, in which watching her wouldn't turn his beast.
