Lost in thought, Sasha gazed at the wardrobe for a while. Although she had assured everyone, including herself, that Matthew would not be in any life-threatening danger, she knew deep down that her words were merely meant to provide comfort. Her heart would never truly be at ease until she laid eyes on him. It wasn't until there was a knock on the door outside the room that she hastily wiped away her tears.
"Sasha, we have finished our discussion..." When the crown prince entered the room and noticed Sasha's slightly reddened eyes, the guilt in his heart intensified. He couldn't help but feel responsible for not adequately protecting Matthew, although he knew that his strength had nothing to do with it.
