Chapter 10

• Sunday morning, as usual, the kids woke up early to watch cartoons. Joshua decided to spend the day cleaning the house; he needed to tidy up, and Luke offered to help. After all, he was living in their house rent-free, so he felt it was almost an obligation to assist Joshua.
• Since the day before, Erick seemed to be more welcoming towards Luke being in the house. Of course, it was only halfway there since he occasionally still looked at him with disdain.
• "Love, your phone is ringing," Erick alerted Joshua, hearing the noise and seeing that the screen read "Mom."
