Chapter 30 The Kiss

• Eric squinted as he opened his eyes. He couldn't move. He felt pains all over. What happened last night? He tried remembering but nothing came to mind.
• He pushed himself up, groaning a little. Did he throw a fit last night? His memory was still a blur. But he was sure of Valentine running in tears. Did he hurt her? He groaned again.
• The door suddenly burst open with Valentine ran in. She looked very frightened and that disturbed him. His head chose that moment to throb and he winced. He certainly had a more disturbing headache.
