• Yoel remained motionless, only tilting his head slightly, and raised his hand, effortlessly catching the book. "How dare you throw a book at your sponsor? You're no longer Mrs. Grant, Whitney Stone. Do you think I won't punish you for behaving as you wish?"
• Amused by his threat, Whitney retorted, "Just how shameless are you, Grant, to say something like that? How highly do you think of this 'Mrs. Grant' in our three-year marriage? I bet I wasn't even as important to you as an underground lover!"
