Chapter 84 Three

• Zara inwardly shivered but maintained a bold font. She slowly took two steps backwards before slightly bowing her head in respect to the man before her. Zara held her breath while waiting for him to speak and when the silence prolonged, she gradually lifted her head to meet Valthor's gaze_ piercing, intense. There was something about the way he was looking at her at that moment, Zara couldn't understand it but for some reason, she shuddered.
• "I... I've come h...here to meet the king," she stuttered, unaware of how she managed to get the words out of her mouth, though she was a complete nervous wreck. Zara waited for a while for him to speak but still he said nothing, so she glanced up again. He was still looking at her in an unfathomable manner. Zara quickly lowered her gaze.
• Perhaps it's best she took her leave as she couldn't bare being around this man for another second.
