• It's been a blurry few days. I didn't know a person could feel numb, cold, and hot all at the same time.
• My sleep was filled with dreams of Mum walking away just like at the mall. In the dream, no matter how many times I called, she refused to look back or answer. I ran after her several times, and it always felt like I was close enough to grab her hand or her shirt. But my fingers would slip through, leaving me hanging. And each time I woke up from such dreams, I would feel relieved that I couldn't grab her.
