• Ryan searched his memories for a moment before replying, "I remember her. She drugged you and hired someone to violate you. Another police officer took over the case, and I stopped getting involved. Why? Is there a problem?" Ryan's intuition told him there was something behind Ryleigh's question. Something must have gone wrong somewhere.
• "Maybe. I met Lausa in the detention center and chatted with her a bit," Ryleigh said. "I don't have any concrete evidence, and this is only a hunch. Even if Laura really had drugged me and hired someone to violate me, she couldn't have come up with such a meticulous plan. I somehow think there's something wrong somewhere."
