Chapter 10 The fight

• I took a sip of my virgin cranberry sangria and slammed the glass down on the counter. Couldn't put up with gentlemanly manners for longer, could he? Had to leave me here all alone like the jerk he was. Glaring at the innocent glass, I took another sip from it. The cold liquid went down my throat smoothly, calming my temper a bit. Mhm, it was good. How did they make this stuff so delicious? I took another sip and more sips until someone interrupted by tapping on my shoulder.
