• Valentino was true to his word. He sent Miguel and Alessandro in an ambulance later that evening. The two men moved into the empty suite that Julian had stayed in, and over the course of the next few days, they regained consciousness and soon started to bicker. It was proving to be a familiar scene, as I had seen them do the same in the van, and concluded they were closer to usual.
