- "F*cking drive up fast!!" I yelled at them. She stayed still, lifeless. I had my jacket around her, somehow giving her warmth but it wasn't working. She was still cold and pale. I kept her clutched to my body tightly, afraid that this might be a dream, that she will disappear when I open my eyes to face the reality and I was too terrified to face it. I wanted to hold her and never let her go, never make the same mistake again. I rubbed her hands, blowing my hot breath trying to make her hand warm but she remained cold.
