• Brandon was spot on when he told me what his parents wanted from us. They wanted a child, badly, and they were blunt and open about it. I wondered how long they have been pressuring Brandon about producing the next heir to the family. That thought made a shiver run through my body.
• Thankfully, Brandon excused us from the lunch soon afterwards which was exactly what I wanted because I couldn’t eat much.
