• “Thanks. I hope you got to catch up on some sleep last night…” I replied as I eyed his face.
• I couldn’t stop myself from smiling and giggling a little now that the bags under his eyes were less visible. It was a little sad that we had to take turns catching up on sleep like this; but hopefully soon, everything would work out for the better and this storm will past too.
