- Susan held her phone tightly the whole morning, waiting for Eric to call. She tried calling him a few times, but his phone was turned off, and the message hit her like a truck. When it was nearly 2.30PM, she put on some makeup, dressed up, and left. She had accepted the fact that the escort had run away. Money and clothes wasted. She was a little down.
