• After finishing his food and juice, Austin got up and walked over to his dad. Zander leaned down to give him a gentle kiss on the forehead, and then Austin went to his grandmother. She kissed his cheek as he said goodbye before heading off to kindergarten with the royal driver. I followed him to the porch, where the sleek black Mercedes was parked, watching as he climbed in. Once the car disappeared down the driveway, I headed back inside.
