Chapter 8 I Like You

  • "I like you," Dana enunciated Gechiydese sentence seriously and slowly.
  • "I ... " Felix ruffled his hair with a trace apology in his gorgeous smile. "Sorry, Ms. Danny, can you repeat it?"
  • "Sure." Dana nodded without suspicion and repeated in Gechiydese, "I like you."
  • "I like you too!" he replied in Gechiydese.
  • After saying that, Felix stood up with a somewhat cheeky smirk, like a cunning fox.
  • Dana was stunned for a moment. Blinking in confusion, she realised that he had duped her.
  • Seeing Felix's deep and passionate gaze, she felt panicked. She immediately recalled a case in which a rich girl in school confessed to a male teacher. They began a romance but got a warning from the girl's parents. The male teacher was eventually dismissed from school.
  • Dana swiftly adopted a praising tone and smiled formally. "Well done, you're indeed the best student and highly flexible. If there are no further inquiries, I'll return to my office."
  • Abruptly, Felix reached out and gripped her delicate wrist. He grabbed her back as she was about to leave in a hurry and trapped her against the wall.
  • Dana's teaching books and materials dropped to the ground with a clatter. Her brilliant eyes were filled with shock, and she feared not to breathe too loudly.
  • "Felix, you—"
  • "Ms. Danny, don't you understand what I said just now?" Felix seized her wrists and pressed them against the wall. He stood 6 feet tall and peered at the terrified Dana, who appeared like a bunny.
  • He proceeded, "Then I'll repeat it in Rivorese. Ms. Danny, I also like you."
  • "No, wait, I don't like you!" Dana hurriedly denied it.
  • "You just mentioned it twice. That's enough to show that you also like me." Felix's smile was flawless and dazzling. It was so appealing that others struggled to look away.
  • He gazed at Dana's fair and attractive face. Her bright eyes appeared to hold the entire universe's glorious splendor. He wanted to touch her straight nose and those small but red lips.
  • Felix's heart softened as he looked at the cute and alluring Dana.
  • He liked her from the moment he saw her.
  • "Felix, I'm your teacher. If you have any questions, I must answer them. Also, I don't like you." Dana frowned, attempting to be cool while rejecting him. She also reminded each other of their respective identities.
  • "Please let go of me!" She attempted to break free from his grip on her wrists, but she found that his strength was just right, making it difficult for her to escape without injuring her.
  • Felix was unfazed by her statements and smiled devilishly. "It doesn't matter as long as I like you. Since you're clever, it's easy for you to begin liking me from now on."
  • Dana, a young, attractive, and naive teacher, was popular among male classmates. Several boys liked her.
  • Because of that, Felix would occasionally block the unwanted admirers to avoid adding to her troubles and worries.
  • To make him give up, Dana could only say, "It's pointless to like me. I got married last Saturday."
  • Felix's eyes showed a trace of coldness. But then, his gaze warmed briefly.
  • He grinned as he looked at her empty fingers. "Ms. Danny, isn't this excuse a bit lame?"
  • "Whether you believe it or not, the fact that I'm married is true. Please throw away any inappropriate thoughts," Dana emphasized solemnly.
  • "Then tell me. What's his name? What does he do? How old is he?" Felix asked gently with a smile.
  • Although his smile appeared gentle and nice, it shot chills down her spine.
  • Dana, who was usually obtuse, was sensitive to his change in attitude, and her breath hitched.
  • Felix displayed a scary aura to her at this moment.
  • Worried that he would do something bad to Edwin, she hesitated for a moment before answering, "He's 31. That's all I can say."
  • Felix appeared to have heard the funniest joke, laughing wildly. He sarcastically said, "How can an old man match up with a young girl? Ms. Danny, at least make up a younger man close to your age. That would be a better match for you!"
  • Old man?
  • Dana's eyes twitched.
  • Although she also mentioned Edwin was old, she disliked it when others said it.
  • Edwin was only 31 years old and appeared to be in his late 20s at most. He was exceptionally attractive, mature, and stable. If he didn't have a poker face, he would get 100 points for appearance.
  • "Let go of me. I want to go eat." Dana frowned, unwilling to cope with Felix any longer.
  • He suppressed his smirk, appearing solemn and harsh. "Ms. Danny, I don't like hearing you say you're married or have a boyfriend when your partner isn't me. Stop kidding and assure me you won't repeat it, then I'll let you go."
  • He grew nervous as he heard her mention marriage. It was like watching his sweetheart drift away from him.
  • Fortunately, it was only her excuse for rejecting him.
  • "I said I'm married." Dana stared at him helplessly.
  • She felt suffocated after having to mention her marriage three times, something she didn't want to confess.
  • The atmosphere abruptly grew heavy.
  • Felix became gloomy. He tightened his grip on her wrists and abruptly leaned closer to her.
  • Dana might have been taken aback by the sudden change in his demeanour. As she turned her head, she instinctively shot up her knee and hit his crotch.
  • "Ouch! Ms. Danny, you ... "
  • With a muffled groan, Felix hunched over and clutched his crotch. A thin layer of sweat formed on his forehead.
  • He never expected the typically kind Dana to counterattack when provoked.
  • Seeing Felix contort in pain, Dana regretted it. She never meant to hurt him.
  • "Are you okay, Felix? I-I didn't mean to ... " she asked fidgetingly, her face growing pale.
  • "Ms. Danny, you've ruined my future happiness. You can't escape responsibility for this." Felix frowned, exaggerating his reaction.
  • It was fortunate that she used little force, or he could have been in real trouble.
