Chapter 14 Fourteen

• The palace comes in view and a bridge awaits, the light brown stone that goes over the river, one current and filled with fishes. I looked down to the crystal clear water as we crossed. I have never been this happy to be back on the palace ground.
• The car parked directly at the castle gate and we both came out. We walked into the palace with two maids behind us, holding our bags. Elijah stopped and looked at me.
• "I have a meeting and it would take me a couple of hours before it's over"  He muttered, pointing with his thumb finger behind him at the large door. With my heightened sense, I listened closely and I could hear the voices of people, Alphas chatting among themselves behind the closed door.
