Chapter 12 Reality Check

• Chris didn't mean to, but he had started to resent Adele. He got nightmares wherein he imagined himself in his dad's place and Adele in his mom's, reliving the same agony and pain his dad had to go through. Chris stayed away from Adele to avoid getting angry at her and do something he would regret later. 
• Liam usually did nothing to go against Chris, so even though he wanted to clarify the situation with Adele, he couldn't. When he recalled the past incidents, he realized he couldn't risk Chris's safety for his own benefits.
• Now that their pups will be born soon, he should be happy instead of sulking about his mate. He, too, decided to stay away from Adele to avoid giving in to his mate instincts.
