• Alex raised his voice when he said his last line. "He's a nobody. There's no way that he could be compared with Norman!" a person in the crowd uttered. "That's right! Norman is the top student in military school!" another person added. A group of people sneered.
• Norman sized up Skylar as he indulged in the compliments. He recalled the times that they fought when they were little. He looked down on him as he learned of their difference in status. Norman asked, "Which branch are you from? I don't mind greeting your leader."
