Chapter 10 Darling, Are You Asleep?

• Xiao Che had married a girl that was as mesmerizing as a goddess, yet he was unable to lay a finger on her during their wedding night. He could only curl up in the corner as he was drenched in misery. The room was dimly lit by a few candles. The mood was set but the newly-married couple was a distance apart. • "You're not going to leave me like this for the night, right?" Xiao Che broke the silence. Qingyue did not respond and proceeded to lie down. Only a fuzzy silhouette could be seen through the bed curtains. However, she extinguished the candles with a swoop of her hand. Xiao Che could not catch a glimpse of her anymore.
• "I was messing with you just now. I wasn't even drunk. Moreover, I didn't even consume a drop of wine this afternoon. You're no fun at all if you can't even take a joke," Xiao Che muttered. "I knew you weren't drunk. However, I am disgusted by a man that urinates anywhere as he pleases." Qingyue finally replied.

• Xiao Che stood up and uttered, "You're saying that I was urinating out there? Did you see it with your own eyes? The sound that you heard was the sound of me pouring wine! • It was getting late yet Yulong was still awake. As he looked out the window, Xiao Yang opened the door and entered hastily. Yulong turned to him and asked, "What's the situation?" Xiao Yang replied, "I checked on them and it seems that Xiao Che was not left outside. However, you shouldn't worry too much about it. There's no way that Qingyue would have feelings for him. She probably didn't kick him out because she felt sorry for him. Although they're in the same room, they could never sleep on the same bed. Perhaps he's laying on the ground as we speak."

• Xiao Che had curled up in the corner until midnight yet he did not feel drowsy. He opened his eyes and raised his left hand. The faint green glow of the Sky Poison Pearl appeared much more luminous in the dark.
