Chapter 9 A Date

  • In The Evening.....
  • Lillian sat in the living room together with Milo, she sipped her coffee while operating her phone, she glanced at Milo with the corner of her eyes.
  • An idea suddenly popped into her head.
  • "Milo, let's go on a date," She said. Milo sighed.
  • "Please, don't even start Lillian."
  • Lillian pursed her lips and she flipped over her phone in Milo's face, and she said. "You know what this means."
  • "Fine, I'll go freshen up." Milo sighed.
  • "You should." Lillian scoffed.
  • Milo stood up and he left, he knew he couldn't say no to Lillian, else she'll just inform her dad about it, and that won't be nice on his own part.
  • He got to their bedroom and he hurriedly went into the bathroom.
  • *****
  • Few minutes later...
  • Lillian sighed and she went into her bedroom, she met Milo already dressed up for the date.
  • "Your dressing is lame." She stated.
  • "Thank you." Milo simply replied.
  • "Why would you be wearing all black? can't you just wear mixed colors? like black and white?" She asked.
  • "My dressing sense Is none of your concern Lillian." Milo retorted.
  • "Of course it concerns me, I'm your wife Milo." She smiled.
  • "Just on paper, don't forget it's a contract marriage, I'm just a collateral to you." He emphasized.
  • "Whatever! Change your T-shirt to white, the black doesn't suit my taste," She said.
  • "Please let me be!"
  • "Do not piss me off, change your T-shirt right now!" She yelled.
  • She knew Milo was bound to do whatever she wanted.
  • "Fine, I will." He sighed pathetically.
  • "Good." Lillian muttered and she went into the bathroom to freshen up.
  • Milo sighed as he pulled off the T-shirt, when was this going to end? When would he be free? When would his suffering end?
  • Many unanswered questions flooded his head.
  • "Arrrrrgh!!" He heard Lillian scream from inside the bathroom.
  • He decided to ignore her, but her screams got louder. Besides, he knew if anything bad happens to her, he'd be held responsible for it.
  • He dashed into the bathroom, only to meet Lillian naked, with a sly smile on her face.
  • Lillian blew kisses, the minute she saw him.
  • "What the fuck!" Milo cursed and he quickly backed away from her.
  • "Come on Milo, don't be like this, I really need you." She wanted to touch him but he moved away from her.
  • "Do not touch me bitch, you pretentious soul." He yelled and he left the bathroom.
  • "Damn you Milo, I hate you!" She yelled after him, even if she didn't mean what she said.
  • She tied a towel around her body and she left the bathroom.
  • Immediately Milo saw her, he stood up.
  • "Where are you going?" She inquired, obviously pained that her plans didn't turn out well.
  • "I'll just wait for you downstairs." Milo frowned, he didn't want to be a victim of Lillian's shenanigans.
  • "Whatever!" Lillian scoffed and Milo walked out.
  • Few minutes later, Lillian joined Milo downstairs.
  • Milo wouldn't deny the fact that she looked beautiful in the white and black mini dress she wore, the dress clung tightly to her body, bringing out her shape. Lillian was beautiful, but also evil, what's the use of having a beautiful face when her soul is so ugly.
  • "Let's get going." She said, then she walked away. Milo trailed behind her.
  • They got outside, the car was already parked outside waiting for them, they got in and the driver drove off immediately.
  • WINE AND DINE ITALIAN DISH
  • *****
  • The car pulled over in front of the restaurant, and they got down, except for the driver.
  • Milo stared at the restaurant, no doubt this was one expensive restaurant.
  • "Let's go in." Lillian said.
  • She took his hand, and without saying anything else, they both went in.
  • They walked to one of the free tables, then they got seated, Milo sat opposite her.
  • A waiter walked up to them to take their order.
  • "Good day Ma'am , Sir, I'll love to take your order." The waiter said politely, then he gave them the menu.
  • "What would you like to have Milo?" Lillian asked, staring at him.
  • "You make the order, I'll have the same as yours." Milo replied, putting down the menu.
  • Lillian smiled. "Sure."
  • She went through the menu till she found something of her liking.
  • "We'll have the Bice tagliolini pasta with lobster and truffles, also, a bottle of the most expensive wine you've got here." She said, then she gave both their menu to the waiter.
  • "Alright ma'am." The waiter said, then he left.
  • "What do you think about the restaurant? It's one of the most expensive restaurants in town." Lillian said.
  • "It's nice." Milo simply replied.
  • "Just that? Don't you have anything else to say?" Lillian said. Milo sighed.
  • "What else should I say Lillian, do you want me to compliment on the worker's clothes and looks too, or should I say something about the other customers here?" Milo stated. Lillian scoffed.
  • "You're impossible Milo." She hissed.
  • A waitress passing by mistakenly slipped, the tray of wine she was holding slipped from her hands and landed on Lillian's laps, ruining her dress, then it fell to the floor.
  • "Ahhh." Lillian screamed in shock.
  • Milo immediately stood up, then he rushed to Lillian's side.
  • "Oh my God, I'm so sorry Ma'am, I made a mistake, I'm so sorry, please forgive me." The waitress pleaded.
  • "A mistake?" Lillian scoffed, then she gave the waitress a big slap.
  • "Lillian!" Milo half yelled in shock.
  • "Stay out of this Milo, I'll teach this bitch a lesson." She said.
  • "You wretched bitch, how dare you, do you have any idea how much this dress cost, do you have any idea how much this dress cost!" She screamed at the top of her lungs.
  • "Please forgive me ma'am, I'm so sorry." The waitress pleaded in tears.
  • "Just shut up!, I should kill you for this." Lillian yelled, then she slapped her twice.
  • "Lillian, that's enough." Milo said, holding her hand, restraining her from hitting the girl.
  • "Let me go Milo, let me go right now." Lillian screamed.
  • The manager came rushing to them.
  • "No Lillian, that's enough, you're causing a scene." Milo said with gritted teeth.
  • "What? So I'm the one causing a scene here, this bitch ruined my dress and that's all you could say, let me go right now, I'll teach this bitch a lesson."
  • "Please excuse me ma'am, I'm the manager here, and I'll love to apologize for what has happened, please forgive her, it was a mistake." The manager said. Lillian turned to glare at him.
  • "I should hit you too for this nonsense you just said." She barked, struggling to free her hand from Milo's grip.
  • The manager bowed his head, then he apologized once more.
  • "That's alright sir, you both can leave, she's my wife, I'll take care of it." Milo said.
  • "Thank you sir." The manager said, then he hastily left, pulling the crying waitress along.
  • "What the hell was that for Milo, who gave you the right to do that huh, I wasn't done with them and you had the guts to tell them to leave." Lillian said furiously.
  • "They already apologized to you Lillian, and besides, it wasn't intentional, you saw it yourself, she mistakenly slipped, she didn't spill the wine on purpose, you should just let it go." Milo said calmly.
  • "I'll deal with you later." Lillian said, then she walked away furiously.
  • Milo sighed dejectedly, he shook his head sadly before going after her.
  • TBC....
