• "You know the board members called for a meeting and I was a little bit nervous, I forgot I was a Miller. When I arrived at the meeting which was also the day of my book launch. The board members whom I thought would remove me from the position thinking I wasn't qualified and simply got the position because of dad, they rather gave me a proper welcome including the employees. I found myself truly smiling that day, like with the book sales and the warmth of everyone. Though I know some might be fake and bitter, especially coming from the Chief Marketing Officer, I was happy that day. That had to be my best day in the weeks you have been here."
• I also informed him of the package I sent to Mrs King and though I laughed alone, I truly wanted to have seen Mrs King's reaction to my book. Nathaniel and I have still been talking though I had been distant, he was still trying to help me in a way. I had expected him to be mad at me because of the book but nothing about it came from his mouth.
