• As James Lawson finally managed to carry Cynthia White into the room, he struggled to open the door with one hand and entered without turning on the lights. He then threw Cynthia White onto the bed and turned around to close the door, turn on the lights, and headed straight to the bathroom to fill the bathtub with cold water.
• After completing all of this, James Lawson finally let out a sigh of relief. Stepping out of the bathroom, he intended to find Cynthia White, but he heard a muffled sound and faint whimpering coming from the living room.
• James Lawson quickly walked to the living room and found the bed empty. Cynthia White, who should have been lying on the bed, was nowhere to be seen.
