Chapter 37

• It was already closing hours. I told Elsa to head home without me. I cleared out my office and headed to Lucas' office.
• The office upstairs was deserted. All the lights were off except his. Did all the big shots just leave at a certain time? Jeesh! I wish I could do that. It'd be awesome. I walked towards his office, slightly annoyed that he was keeping me back from work. I just wanted to go home and chill.
• "What is it you want, Mr.Adams?" I snapped coming through his door. He wasn't there. Well I feel dumb. I stepped up and set my bag on one of the chairs in front of his desk. I turned around. He was leaning against the wall. He closed the door.
