Chapter 26 Not Hoping

• A blinding light from the window woke me up, it wasn't just a nightmare that happened to me but real. I immediately shifted my attention to the sofa on the side, hoping that Craig would still be there but I was disappointed.
• "Oh, you're finally awake." That's the word I heard when the door opened, it was Mom carrying some Tupperware, "how are you feeling?"
• She's talking to me but her eyes are not looking at me, I feel and know the reason but I want to hear from her, myself. I also want to hear words from her similar to what Craig said to me yesterday.
