Chapter 29 Accepting The Proposal

  • Agneta cried silently in her room. Her heart ached. He felt sick because his life was always full of people's insults. Even his innocent child had to endure that humiliation. It's not uncommon for Agneta to see Regan crying after school or when she picks her up because people insult her as an illegitimate child who doesn't have a father.
  • For five years, Agneta struggled alone, even after being kicked out of her own family. Her father even thought Agneta was dead and made a grave for her. He thinks Agneta never existed in this world. Agneta struggles alone with a child who becomes her lamp and encouragement in the midst of insults from other people.
