Chapter 21 Secrets

• Lucian kept his promise, and we did nothing. Rather I dozed off soon after I landed on the bed, my exhaustion finally caught up.
• I woke with a start at about 8 am. The spot beside me on the bed was empty. The dishevelled state of the bed and the sheets stated that he had left the bed recently. I felt kind of lonely and disappointed as if I was expecting him to wake me up.
• The bathroom door suddenly opened, and Lucian stepped out showered and shaved, a towel tied low, very low on his waist. I had seen him semi-naked before, but it was always intimidating to see his perfectly sculpted body.
