Chapter 37

• Desire ran out of the room angry, betrayed, and confused. She thought Sylvester felt something for her, she thought she was at least important to him. 
• She hid in a corner until all the lights in the house were being put away one by one. Crying her eyes out and feeling really angry, she reluctantly returned to the room but before she did, she cleaned the tears away from her eyes to prove to him that what she saw had no effect on her. 
• Slowly, she opened the door leading to his suite quietly so she could enter her own room and have a goodnight's rest.
