Chapter 43 Do As I Say!
- It was already dark, and there was no moon in the sky tonight, but the garden lights brightened it up. I waited in the crowd for the next thing. The video of shame on the big screen finally stopped. Or it just disappeared.
- Then came the darkness, and the power went out. I took out my pistol and fired in the direction of the ceiling, the white crystal chandelier swinging violently in mid-air. The guests shrieked in fright, and I ducked to one side to watch the panicked crowd scramble for the door.
- "Security!" Ron shouted in the dark, but his voice was soon drowned out by the noise of the stampede.
