• Can she bear the thought of Nick in jail?
• She had forgiven him for kidnapping and taking her by force but now she was enraged because he  deceived  her.  He toyed with her. No doubt he considered her as witless, brain-dead. She didn't want to imagine what he was thinking while she was with him as Derick/ Nick. She felt played on...cheated... but the bitter truth was, she still loved him. She had to make a decision now...
• "You don't have to do that Emma. I will not file any charges. I already had forgiven him for what he did to me in the past. But he made a fool out of me and that is one thing I find hard to forgive  and forget. If I didn't see  that certificate, I wonder if he had any plan of telling me about Derick and Nick being the same man! " she couldn't stop her voice from trembling.
