• I closed my eyes for a few seconds and opened them, hoping it would all end up being a hallucination from the suffering and pain I had gone through. I was expecting to open my eyes and see just Laura, not this man of evil and demonic power.
• It shouldn't be true that the dreaded demon king was back to life and could now live among us. It really can't be real that Laura committed the abomination of invoking his remains with the dark mirror and helping him to reform again.
• I know werewolves are bad and wicked, something we, the vampires, have been taught in school, but not to the extent of conniving with the demons when they are our common enemy.
