• *Isadora’s POV*
• I flipped over on my bed and reached over to find that Padrino never came into my room like he promised. I sat up and searched for my phone, instantly finding it charging on the nightstand. As soon as I saw that it was two in the morning, I huffed before throwing my sheets off my legs and climbing out of bed.
• After dinner, Padrino told me to wait for him in the guest room that was supposed to be mine when my parents ever came to visit or, in this case, stayed. He said that he would stop by and finish what we had started at the pool, but of course, he didn’t show up.
