• Nathaniel stood up from his booth, bringing out some dollar bills from his back pocket, slamming it on the table as he gestured to the waiter for the bill then walked out, tugging his tie.
• He contemplated when he entered his car whether to call his maid and ask if his wife was awake or not but he chose the latter and drove off.
• He checked his Patek Phillippe wristwatch and saw 1:04 glaring at him accusingly. He had wasted enough time today with different dramas. He connected his earpod with his phone, calling his PA to cancel all his schedule and fixed it at another time.
