• The morning sun penetrated through the windows in my room, and the sparrows perched on the trees while chirping. The continuous chirping woke me up from my sleep, and I rubbed my sleepy eyes as I pulled my sheets away and walked to the window. I noticed that another car had taken the spot where Ian's car had been parked the night before.
