• Two months ago, I had thought Jack was being delusional by searching for someone that we had gone to her funeral and paid a visit to her grave with flowers. I had suspected that the man he told me he had to hire to look for her by all means possible since he was certain about his claims only wanted to dupe him because of his desperation.
• Now I can't help shivering even when the temperature hasn't gone down. If anyone had seen Monica and had brought it up to my hearing, I would have argued my way out and called the person sick, but I saw her myself. She showed herself to me in flesh and blood, and the malice that glinted in her eyes wasn't that of a ghost but that of a rival, alive and ready for another strike.
