• The next morning at eight o'clock, after instructing the nanny--Mrs. Cate, to take care of the two treasures and giving each of them a kiss on the cheek, Alessia left the house.
• Christian and Eleanor watched from the balcony until Alessia's figure completely disappeared, then they glanced at each other and quietly slipped out the door.
• The taxi raced down the highway and arrived at the X fishing area after about three hours.
