Chapter 38 Harder Than Believing
- When she woke up, Lior was gone.
- Nine didn't move for the first few minutes, staring at the dent he left on her bed. She felt tired, but... It didn't feel like a bad tired, in a sense. She knew he wouldn't stay, of course, this was something she had gotten used to already.
- Slowly, she sat up, wincing at the soreness between her legs before she began to blush as the memories flowed through her head. Her hand reached out for the comforter on her bed and she pulled it to her body, a goofy smile on her face.
