Chapter 90 - A Deadly Strike

• All the air had been snatched from my lungs the moment I saw James standing in the doorway. My body instantly reacted to him in a way that had me gladly moving across the room to stand in front of him. When he pressed his lips against my own, I knew I was lost.
• I knew I wanted us to take things slow, but God help me...I needed him. I needed to feel closer to him than I had been for the past several days.
