• Madison breathed out in relief, as soon as it was time for her lunch break.
• Today had been one of those days when the bakery had lots of work to do, and as usual she'd had to come earlier than usual, leaving her with no time to have breakfast at home.
• She did have some leftover porridge, but she was sure it would have already spoilt, and by the time work was done today, when she got home she would just be too tired to make dinner.
