Chapter 8 Miss Stark Asked You to Let Go

  • Upon seeing that, Elliot quickly took the initiative to light the cigarette for him with a sparkle in his eyes. "Tony, who is this Miss Stark? Your secret crush?"
  • However, Tony merely narrowed his eyes before he shot a glance at Elliot's idiotic face with a profound look without uttering another word.
  • If it was like before, he would have killed me with his glare a couple times over.
  • Something's going on!
  • A curious Elliot was about to ask more questions when Tony unexpectedly finished his vodka shot that had been left aside for a long time.
  • He was stunned to see that. At that moment, Tony had already risen to his full height and took the black suit that was placed aside before he walked out of the room...
  • As Myra left Zion Club, she wondered whether the fever medicine she took was effective since her head still felt unwell. Hence, she walked to the reception area and sat there to rest.
  • She touched her forehead that was burning hot. When she thought about resting a while more before she left, a group of people walked into the club as a man wearing a gray suit led them. His face was handsome yet impassive. The man was exactly her husband, Sean.
  • She never expected that Sean would also come with his childhood friends to Zion Club as well.
  • Each of them were obviously regulars of Zion Club and had a sexy woman in their embrace respectively, but the one whom Sean was hugging was slightly more shy. She wore a white dress and her makeup was just right. When she cuddled in his embrace, she looked docile and weak.
  • Myra was caught off-guard by what she saw and she immediately stood up, but before she could turn, someone in Sean's group noticed her and spoke something to him.
  • Then, Sean's face immediately darkened. After releasing the woman in his embrace, he walked over to Myra with a displeased expression on his face.
  • At that moment, Myra took her purse from the couch and she planned to walk out of the club from the other exit. However, someone held her wrist from behind.
  • "What the hell are you doing here?"
  • Sean had already arrived behind her. .
  • He spoke in a cold voice, but she only felt the pain in her hands from his grip.
  • She turned to face him indifferently and glanced sideways at the woman dressed in white, who was looking at them morosely. She's making me look like I'm the mistress here! She smiled self-mockingly. "My reason for being here is the same as yours."
  • Sean's expression immediately changed as his gaze became much sharper. "You said that you have something about work tonight—and that is to mess around in Zion?" Mess around?
  • Myra smiled, but there was warm moisture in her eyes. "Why? Are you the only one allowed to have fun with other women here? And I can't find other men?
  • "Find another man?" Sean's face darkened as he unconsciously tightened his grip on Myra's hand. "Myra, have you forgotten your identity? How dare you come to this kind of place while still being Mrs. Chase!"
  • His strong grip made Myra feel like her arm would be crushed. Still, she endured the pain and sneered. "Mrs. Chase? Sean, why don't you ask around? Who else knows I am your wife aside from your family?"
  • Perhaps she was triggered by her conversation with Estelle tonight as Myra found it difficult to control her emotions.
  • "You are always with different women every single day. So, why should I be expected to remain faithful to our marriage? From now on, let's live our own lives. Let's not interfere with each other's affairs!"
  • "Myra!" Sean was infuriated. "Do you even know what you're saying?"
  • Myra shrugged. "Of course I do. I've just come to terms with it. We've been married for two years. Yet, we never had sex before. Since you're not interested in me, I'll find a man who is."
  • "Myra, you are a whore!" Sean couldn't help but shout.
  • For the past two years they had been married, Myra would always patiently wait for him to come home every day even if she was dissatisfied with his actions.
  • However, it seemed that the pliant flower had grown thorns, piercing him mercilessly with her barbs.
  • At that moment, Sean felt like something was leaving him behind. Hence, he desperately wanted to grab hold of it.
  • Suddenly, Myra burst into laughter. As she laughed and laughed, tears gradually filled her eyes.
  • "Yes. I am a whore! I've been waiting for a man who doesn't love me, hoping he'll change his mind! In the end, what was it all for? All is just a joke."
  • Myra wiped away her tears and gathered her courage for the first time as she looked directly into Sean's eyes. "Sean, let's get a divorce... Ah!"
  • Before she could finish her words, Sean suddenly turned into a raging beast as he grabbed her arm forcefully and dragged her out of the hall.
  • "It hurts! Sean, let go of me!"
  • Alas, that only served to make Sean tighten his grip on her.
  • "Myra, you are just angry that I've left you alone after marriage. Since you're so in need of a man, I'll satisfy you!"
  • "Sean, let go of me!"
  • Myra struggled, but she couldn't break free from his grasp.
  • She was already feeling dizzy from her fever. So, she stumbled and fell to the ground due to Sean's rough treatment.
  • "Ah!" Myra exclaimed in shock.
  • Before Sean could turn around, a figure appeared. He quickly encircled Myra's waist, holding her securely in his arms.
  • The familiar scent mixed with a faint tobacco smell filled Myra's nostrils.
  • She looked up in confusion. The only thing that greeted her eyes was Tony's sharp jawline.
  • "Mr. Hart?" Myra was surprised.
  • Tony lowered his head and looked at Myra in his arms. Her eyes were slightly red-rimmed, and her face pale. She was filled with despair, looking as fragile as porcelain. It seemed as if she would shatter at any moment.
  • In that split second, his expression darkened. Then, he looked at the culprit coldly.
  • Meanwhile, Sean eyed Tony in silence the second he appeared. Soon, he felt an unprecedented sense of crisis rising in his heart.
  • The three of them stood at the entrance of Zion Club with Myra being the object of their desire.
  • Tony held Myra tightly while Sean held onto Myra's arm.
  • Two men were holding onto the same woman, neither willing to let go.
  • An invisible sense of oppression permeated the air.
  • Tony's cold gaze fell on Sean's hand and said, "Are you deaf, Mr. Chase? Miss Stark told you to let go."
  • His voice was icy and dangerous.
