Chapter 25 Twenty-five

• The sound of water splashing against rocks woke Becky up by six thirty the following morning. She groaned and reached over to stop the alarm. Becky turned around and realized she was alone in bed. She smiled and sniffed the pillow Colin used. It still had his cologne smell. She noticed a note on her nightstand and picked it up to read.
• The note said he left at five. He also asked her not to go to work in her car. He also wrote that a driver will be at her house at eight am to take her to work whenever she is ready to go to work. Also, he would come pick her at lunchtime. Becky yawned and sniffed the pillowcase again.
• Everything about last night rushed back to her. She giggled and rolled out of the bed. She went to use the bathroom before going downstairs to prepare breakfast for herself and her sister.
